Jennifer Villani Burton is an associate attorney at Lira Bravo Law. Jennifer practices immigration law exclusively. She has experience with all types of family and victims’ based immigration, as well as special government programs and deportation defense. Prior to joining Lira Bravo Law, Ms. Burton worked for immigration law firms in Dallas, as well as Catholic Charities, where she was an accredited representative.

Ms. Burton obtained her juris doctorate from The University of Oklahoma College of Law. While in law school, Ms. Burton was a member of The International Human Rights Clinic, and co-authored a report cited by the United Nations on Ecuador’s treatment of its’ indigenous people. Ms. Burton was also one of six students chosen nationally to write a report on human trafficking funded by The State Bar of Texas. Ms. Burton also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Letters, and a minor in Spanish from The University of Oklahoma.

Ms. Burton is fluent in Spanish. She has appeared on television and the radio to speak about immigration. She also regularly speaks at community events.

Ms. Burton is happily married with four children. In her free time, she enjoys reading and being outdoors.
